DAY 3 – Banana Smoothie

Kick start your day with this healthy and power packed five ingredient smoothie.

Banana is a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants and blueberries help lose belly fat. Substituting sugar with honey would not only give this smoothie a health boost, but would also help in reducing sugar levels in the body.  Also, there is a powerful spice which gives this smoothie a  great color and good mouth feel, Cinnamon has a high concentration of antioxidants which help  reduce inflammation, risk of cancer and other diseases.  Cow milk has innumerable benefits, it  not only nourishes the body tissue, but also helps in increasing intelligence and strength.

Banana Berry Smoothie

*Ingredients

  1. Banana                                                                              2
  2. Blueberries                                                                       5-6
  3. Honey                                                                                1/2 tbsp
  4. Cinnamon powder                                                         1 tsp
  5. Cow milk                                                                           1 cup

*Pre-preparation

  1. Freeze bananas for 1 hour.

*Preparation

  1. Ina blender, add bananas, blueberries, honey, cinnamon powder and cow milk.
  2. Blend until smooth has creamy.
  3. Serve chilled.
